Apricot Jacket finished

Here is my finished apricot jacket.
Pattern: from Rebecca #27
Yarn: 5 skeins Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece color Prarie Lupine
Needles: Size 6
started 4/20/07, finished knitting 6/7/07, seamed together in July, totally f
inished on 7/14/07.
I knitted following the pattern for the large size because my gauge was more stitc
hes per inch that what was called for. I left off the crochet edge and just did four crochet button loops. I like the look and fit of this sweater. I was very lucky to find the right size buttons in exactly the same color as my yarn.

Gorgeous jacket! It fits you perfectly and is very flattering. I'm inspired to find the pattern, though I'm not as slim as you are, so I'm not sure if it would look quite as nice on me!

Beautiful job! I'm dying to start this "jacket" myself and I've been looking all over the web at various examples. Yours is as nice as any I've seen. I was just about set on using Cotton Fleece and now that I've seen yours I'm sure.

Your sweater looks beautiful. If you have a minute, could you please please please try to answer a question I have? This is supposed to be my vacation knitting and the sleeves are kicking my butt (I didn't bring a long enough cable to start the back on the plane). I can't for the life of me figure out how the middle ribbing between the charts is supposed to decrease with each subsequent chart. I keep having sts left over at the end. I thought, with all the wisdom on Ravelry, that I wouldn't have to be one of the people knitting them three or four times but that's not proving to be the case. Any advice you can share would be much appreciated. Thank you!
